TALCOPE is a dedicated Non-Governmental Organization committed to transforming communities and shaping a brighter future for South Sudan. Through impactful programs in education, entertainment, Christianity, and peacekeeping missions, we work to empower individuals, foster unity, and inspire lasting change. Welcome to TALENT CENTRE OF HOPE AND PEACE [TALCOPE],a community-based non governmental organization in SOUTH SUDAN,committed to providing EDUCATION,BASIC NEEDS and HOLISTIC SUPPORT for children in South Sudan.

My name is FLORENCE OTIENO,the FOUNDER and CEO of TALCOPE,originally from Nairobi Kenya,I relocated to South Sudan in early 2020 to engage in missionary works in Aweil,particularly in a marginalised area known as Ayuang.i am a LAY CATECHIST,diploma holder in Catechetics and PASTORAL MINISTRY from Catholic University Of Eastern Africa [CUEA].

upon arriving in Ayuang,i was deeply moved by the extreme vulnerability of the local population which included street children,drug addicts,displaced families and victims of child labour-all consequences of longstanding political instability and war in the region.Guided by faith and inspired by St. James ,I founded TALENT CENTRE OF HOPE AND PEACE in early 2021,beginning with the establishment of TALENT INTERNATIONAL ACADEMY [TIA],which now educates over 500 pupils from SOUTH SUDAN,NORTHERN SUDAN,CONGO and neighbouring warring countries.

TALCOPE has now grown to incorporate a variety of community-based programs that focus on CHILD PROTECTION,PEACEBUILDING,TALENT DEVELOPMENT,COMMUNITY HEALING and SOCIAL INTERACTIONS.We remain committed to long-term transformation and empowerment of needy children worldwide.
